Type material: Lectotype NHMUK 1968172/1 and 2 paralectotypes NHMUK 1968172/2-3 (H. Cuming collection). Indirect lectotype selection by inference of holotype (Bratcher & Cernohorsky, 1987: 42, pl. 4, figs. 12a-e).

Remarks: ‘Nagada, Papua New Guinea’ designated as type locality by Bratcher & Cernohorsky (1987: 42).
