Type locality: ‘Sénégal’.

Label locality: ‘Senegal’.

Type material: 3 paralectotypes NHMUK 197977 (H. Cuming collection). Remarks: The lectotype selected by Bratcher & Cernohorsky (1987: 196, pl. 61, fig. 236b) is supposedly in MNHN, but there are 14 types in MNHN (9 paralectotypes MNHN-IM- 2000-2343 and 5 paralectotypes MNHN- IM- 2000-2344), none has the size of the lectotype (39.0 mm) and none correspond to the specimen figured as lectotype (Heros, 2017, pers. comm.). No specimen of this size has been located in NHMUK either.
