121. Sybistroma obscurellus (Fallén, 1823) (Dolichopodinae) View in CoL — new to Portugal

Number of specimens recorded. 1.

Distribution. Europe. Portugal: one province (Beira Litoral).

Ecology. The single Portuguese specimen was collected in a primarily pine forest with Quercus spp. and Eucalyptus sp. In northwestern Europe, this rather widespread species displays a distinct preference for humid forests and swamps, but does not avoid humid wooded sites in urban environments either.

Rarity (%). 1.1 (very rare). Common (FL).
