Distribution. Europe, less in the northeast. Portugal: Beira Alta ( Naglis & Barták 2015) (also Dyte unpubl. data).

Ecology. In northwestern Europe, this species occurs both in brackish marshlands and in rather dry deciduous forests ( Pollet 2000).
