The species is described and illustrated in all life stages in Drayson et al. (2015: 15-16; keyed 22, 35-36; figs. 3A, 4G, 6F, 9A, 11C). Holotype: Pe/♂, AUSTRALIA: Lord Howe Island, Rocky Run Ck., at coast, 31°33'S 159°05'E, 30.xi.1993 (Cranston & Gullan). The type depository is ANIC. Paratypes: see Drayson et al. (2015: 15).
