Der Typus ist teilweise zerstört. Die Reste von Kopf, Thorax, Flügeln und Beinen gestatten aber noch eine Zuordnung. Von HILPERT et al. (1993) ist die Art mit Platylabus theresae PIC synonymisiert worden, diese Zuordnung kann hiermit bestätigt werden. Beide Taxa sind zu Platylabus pallidens WESMAEL synonym.
