Diagnosis. Dorsal surface of head with two deep, oval pits, connected by arcuate groove; genal projections long, prominent; temples strongly reduced; pronotum widest near one third of basal length, its maximum width broader than elytral width at shoulders; body dull, pronotum and elytra without depressions; terminal antennomere at most 1.1 times longer than wide.

Larvae and larval and adult habitat. Unknown.

Note. San Martín de los Andes was erroneously reported as occurring in the province of Chubut by Ślipiński & Tomaszewska (2010). “Mallin camino La Ratona”, which means “mallin [local name of swamps] way to La Ratona”, could not be located on any map of Argentina.
