Distribution: India: Meghalaya (Khasi Hills). Elsewhere : China (Lee et al. 2018).
Illustrations: Adult and genitalia ( Clarke 1969b: 484; Lee et al. 2018: 34).
Remark: Clarke (1969b) synonymized Thyrsostoma fissilis which was collected from the same locality as that of T. diplobathra based on the male genitalia ( Karsholt et al. 2013; Lee et al. 2018).
