Thiotricha pylartis Meyrick, 1908b: 441 View in CoL ; TL: India, Khasi Hills , Assam (now in Meghalaya) (Lectotype ♂ designated by Clarke 1969b: 487) ( NHMUK) .
Distribution: India: Meghalaya (Khasi Hills). Elsewhere : China (Lee et al. 2018) and Japan ( Kuroko 1957).
Illustrations: Adult and genitalia ( Clarke 1969b: 487; Lee et al. 2018: 23).
Host: Quercus myrsinifolia ( Fagaceae ) (Robinson et al. 2023).
