Polyhymno alcimacha Meyrick, 1918: 129 View in CoL ; TL: India, Coimbatore, South India (now in Tamil Nadu) (Lectotype ♂ designated by Clarke 1969b: 319) ( NHMUK) .
Distribution: India: Meghalaya (Khasi Hills), Rajasthan and Tamil Nadu (Coimbatore).
Illustrations: Adult and genitalia ( Clarke 1969b: 319).
Host: Senegalia catechu ( Fabaceae ) (Robinson et al. 2023).
Genus Pulchrala Lee et al. 2021: 375 View in CoL ; TS: Thiotricha clidias Meyrick, 1908 View in CoL
Remark: The name is derived from the Latin, pulchra (beautiful) and ala (wing).
