Empedaula insipiens Meyrick, 1918: 149 View in CoL ; TL: India, Pusa, Bengal (now in Bihar) (Type ♀) ( NHMUK) .
Distribution: India: Bihar (Pusa).
Illustrations: Adult and genitalia ( Clarke 1969b: 48).
Host: Breynia vitis-idaea ( Phyllanthaceae ) (Robinson et al. 2023).
Remark: This is the only representative of the genus from the Oriental region, and it is endemic to India.
