Dichomeris intensa Meyrick, 1913a: 173 View in CoL ; TL: India, Cuddapah (now Kadapa in Andhra Pradesh) (Lectotype ♂ designated by Clarke 1969b: 28) ( NHMUK) .
Distribution: India: Andhra Pradesh (Kadapa) and Karnataka (Kodagu). Elsewhere : Sri Lanka, and Vietnam (Meyrick 1925a; Gaede 1937; Ponomarenko 1997).
Illustrations: Adult and genitalia ( Clarke 1969b: 28).
Host: Diospyros kaki ( Ebenaceae ) (Robinson et al. 2023).
