Chelaria spathota Meyrick, 1913a: 165 View in CoL ; TL: India, Konkan , Bombay (now in Maharashtra) (Lectotype ♀ designated by Clarke 1969a: 426) ( NHMUK) .
Distribution: India: Himachal Pradesh (Sirmour), Maharashtra (Konkan), Meghalaya (Khasi Hills), and Uttarakhand (Dehradun) (Pathania et al. 2006). Elsewhere : Australia, China, Indonesia, Japan, Vietnam (Ponomarenko 1997; Park & Ponomarenko 1999).
Illustrations: Adult and genitalia ( Clarke 1969a: 426; Pathania & Rose 2003a: 165).
Hosts: Lannea coromandelica , Mangifera indica ( Anacardiaceae ) (Ponomarenko 1997: 41).
