Remark: This subfamily includes the tribes Anacampsini and Chelariini , and comprises 70 species placed in 16 genera. Within tribes, 15 species in five genera are assigned to Anacampsini , and 53 species in nine genera are in Chelariini . Two species in two genera in this subfamily remain unassigned to any tribe. Subfamily diversity is high in Karnataka with about 19 species (27.14%) followed by Bihar with about 17 species (24.29%) ( Fig. 8 View FIGURE 8 ). The family has not yet been documented in few states in central India and the northeastern region.
Diagnostic character: Abdominal sternum II has a pair of venulae and a pair of very short apodemes.Abdominal sternum VIII forms a complete ring around genitalia ( Lewis 2011).
