Type. Holotype male ( Fig. 2): Brazil, Paraná, San Jose dos Pinhais, IV-1980, (Silva), MNRJ.

Diagnosis. Similar to D. lilloanus (Liebermann) , differing mainly in body color, size smaller, and shorter aedeagal valves. Body color dark greenish brown with post ocular dark brown band; lower half of pronotum and episternum dirty white. Head dorsal and face greenish. Fore and middle legs green. Hind femur with outer face black, except for yellow area on lower proximal half of medial area; upper marginal area brown with three transverse dark bands; inner face and lower marginal area bright red. Hind tibiae dark green. Tegmina homogeneously brown. Cerci with distal half gently curved inwards.
