Distribution.—(French) Pyrenees, westwards from Andorra.

Notes.—The two taxa united by Gittenberger (1973) in a polytypic species as A. p. pyrenaearia and A. p. vergniesiana , should be considered separate species that are not even sister-taxa ( Kokshoorn 2008: 93).
