MNCN: ADN: 118946) .

Differential diagnosis. Bathyscioid species of Troglocharinus with well-developed mesoventral keel; first male protarsomere as wide as apex of tibia, and as long as tarsomeres 2nd–4th. Median lobe of aedeagus regularly curved in lateral view, apex elongated and sinuate. Endophallus with long, narrow, elliptical NCs; upper node of the FVM rounded; PF2 with a sharp bend. Spiculum of the female urite viii short, wide and with trunctated apex. Spermatheca with two lobes wider than medial region, which is not arched; basal lobe larger than apical lobe.

Description of the Holotype. Habitus as in Fig. 3 View FIGURES 3–4 . Body length 3.4 mm. Body shape oval. Body surface finely punctated on pronotum, with transverse striolas on elytra. With fine, yellowish, recumbent inconspicuous pubescence.

Antennomere lengths as in Table 3 View TABLE 3 . Pronotum transverse, lateral margins regularly arched, slightly narrower than elytra, with maximum width at base (maximum width = 1.4 x length = 0.9 mm.).

Elytra elongated, maximum width on anterior half, posterior half strongly narrowing towards apex.

Mesoventral keel well developed, with hook-like vertex.

Legs very long, particularly the posterior legs. Mesotibia arched, first protarsomere ( Fig. 7 View FIGURES 7–11 ) as wide as apex of tibiae and as long as tarsomeres 2nd–4th.

Median lobe of aedeagus with sinuous margins in dorsal view ( Fig. 20 View FIGURES 20–24 ), with apex apparently truncated; regularly curved in lateral view ( Fig. 15 View FIGURES 15–19 ); apex elongated, sinuous and pointed.

Lateral stylus of the tegmen sinuate, somewhat shorter than median lobe and with three setae on apex, two inserted laterally, one arched and the other sinuate; third shorter, fine and straight, inserted on the opposed side. Membranous lamina very long, with a long and dense tuff of setae (“penicillum”) inserted in the apical region, including the membranous lamina ( Fig. 42 View FIGURES 35–47 ).

Endophallus ( Figs 27, 28 View FIGURES 27–34 ) with elliptical, long and narrow NCs; NFVM rounded and PF2 small and slightly arched.

Female. Protarsi not dilated, with antennae shorter than those of males. Spiculum of the urite viii short, wide and with truncated apex ( Fig. 58 View FIGURES 58–63 ). Spermatheca with well differentiated lobes wider than the medial region, basal lobe larger, median region not bent ( Fig. 52 View FIGURES 52–57 ).

Comparative notes. First male protarsomere heart-shaped ( Fig. 7 View FIGURES 7–11 ) as in T. mengeli ( Fig. 9 View FIGURES 7–11 ) and T mercedesi ( Fig. 10 View FIGURES 7–11 ), but noticeably more elongated than in these two species. In T. sendrai sp. nov. and T. fadriquei sp. nov. the first male protarsomere is markedly subrectangular, with more parallel sides ( Figs 7, 8 View FIGURES 7–11 ). Endophallus similar to that of T. fadriquei sp. nov., but the NFVM are rounded in T. sendrai sp. nov. ( Figs 27–28 View FIGURES 27–34 ) and elongated-rectangular in T. fadriquei sp. nov. ( Figs 29–30 View FIGURES 27–34 ). PF2 of T. sendrai sp. nov. small and bent, large and rectangular in T. fadriquei sp. nov.

Etymology. The species is named after our colleague Ramón Sendra, an active collaborator in collecting subterranean fauna.

Distribution ( Fig. 71 View FIGURE 71 ).

1. La Vansa i Fórnols, Mina de Coll d’Arnat. The data “Castellar de Tost, Dolina de Coll d’Arnat, 19-10-1969, Auroux leg. (MZB)” given in Fresneda & Salgado (2017) corresponds to this locality.

2. Tora de Tost, Baborell del Pic del Montsec ( Fresneda & Salgado 2017), UTM (ETRS89) 31N 3683 46788, 1301 m.
