Distribution. Islands of New Guinea and New Britain.
Diagnosis. Saccharodite minuscula resembles closely Sa. montana sp. nov., also from New Guinea. It can be recognized by the middle of the pronotum not being coloured orange, by the red stripes on the middle femora, and by the very small apical portion of the male aedeagus.
