Diagnosis. Females of S. pescador sp. nov. resemble those of S. tenuistyla and S. sevegnaniae sp. nov. by the spermathecae with a reduced basal dome, but can be distinguished by having two long receptacula ducts ( Figs 54, 55 View FIGURES 49 – 55 ).
Etymology. The specific name honors the native inhabitants of the Pântano do Sul Beach in the southern Santa Catarina Island, Florianópolis, Santa Catarina, Brazil. Pescador is taken from the Portuguese language and means fisherman. The Pântano do Sul Beach is characterized by one of the oldest fishering villages in the Santa Catarina Island ( Melo et al., 2008).
