Stagmatoptera abdominalis ( Olivier, 1792) View in CoL . In their revision of Stagmatoptera, Rodrigues & Cancello (2016) View in CoL considered this species as species inquirenda, and regarded subsequent literature records as misidentifications. We agree with the analysis of Rodrigues & Cancello (2016) and thus we void the record of Agudelo et al. (2007) and Patel & Singh (2016a) of S. abdominalis View in CoL from Peru.
