Remarks. Our specimen resembles Elbenia? tenera from Mount Trus Madi (sensu Gorochov, 2023c) by the shape of the male cercus and the extension of the male last abdominal tergite ( Figs 6B–D ). Gorochov (2023c), however, remarked doubts about the identification, owing to the close resemblance with Elbenia? borneensis Karny, 1926 from Sarawak, and that the emargination between the lobes of the male last abdominal tergite of Elbenia? tenera specimens collected from Mount Kinabalu can be variable.
