New records: India, Assam State, stream near Hajo, 06.iii.2010, leg. Bordoloi, 1/1/0 (0/1/0 mounted).

Records from the study area: Kerala—“ Pseudatractides pyriformis “ Nayar (1969a).

Remarks: Lundblad (1969) did not feel certain about the locality of his specimens of Sigthoria nilotica , they were either from Calcutta (West Bengal) or Colombo ( Sri Lanka).

Habitat: Ponds and slowly flowing streams.

Distribution: Africa, Asia, Australia.
