Paratanais sp. indet. [tara- group]

Material examined. One manca-II, one non-ov. ♀, CR.012155, J12/1/85, Tuaheni High, east of Mahia peninsula, 340–380m, 38º 49.40’S, 178º 37.80’E, 23 August 1985, RV James Cook GoogleMaps .

Remarks. These two specimens are in fairly poor condition, share antennal structure with P. tara and Penteparatanais gen.nov. (see below), but the antennule is definitely four-articled. More material from this locality would be required before its identity could be determined with confidence.
