Valid name: Epomophorus gambianus (Ogilby, 1835)

Comment: Matschie (1899: 46) gave the locality of the specimens collected by Baumann as “Misahöhe, Togoland ” (= Missahoe, Togo); however, according to the entry book the locality is Kunjuruma.
