Remarks. This species has been recorded from Shogran, Kaghan Valley, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (Staven, 2001, unpublished data), which is the first record of this species from Pakistan. Theretra clotho subsp. clotho occurs from northern Pakistan, Sri Lanka and India (including the Andaman Islands), east though Nepal and Myanmar to tropical southern China and Hong Kong, then through South East Asia and Indonesia, as far as Sumba ( Pittaway & Kitching, 2013). It is replaced in the Philippines by T. clotho subsp. vincenti Vaglia & Liyous, 2010.
