Type locality. Serra da Pedra Lascada, Itajuípe , state of Bahia, Brazil .

Distribution. Endemic to Brazil ( Plt. 35A View Plate 35 ). Known from a restricted area in the northern portion of the Atlantic Forest ( Plt. 35A View Plate 35 ) at intermediate to high elevations ( Plt. 35B View Plate 35 ). Observed in the field in upland forest ( Curcio et al., 2012).
