Type locality. Unknown.

Distribution. Endemic to Brazil ( Plt. 212A View Plate 212 ). Recorded in southern and central portions of the Atlantic Forest ( Plt. 212A View Plate 212 ) and marginally in Araucaria Forest at low to high elevations ( Plt. 212B View Plate 212 ). Observed in the field in forest ( Marques et al., 2001; Martins et al., 2008b; Marques et al., 2009).
