Type locality. Brazil, fide Hamdan et al., 2014 .

Distribution. Known from Bolivia, Brazil, and Paraguay ( Plt. 121A View Plate 121 ). In Brazil, widespread in Cerrado, Atlantic Forest, savanna enclaves in Amazonia, Chiquitano Dry Forest, Pantanal, and Caatinga ( Plt. 121A View Plate 121 ), mostly from intermediate to high elevations ( Plt. 121B View Plate 121 ). Previous maps and taxonomy in Dixon et al. (1993) and Hamdan et al. (2014). Observed in the field in savanna and gallery forest ( FranÇa et al., 2008; Hamdan et al., 2014).
