Type locality. Rio Solimões , state of Amazonas, Brazil .

Distribution. Known from Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru in Amazonia ( Plt. 112A View Plate 112 ). In Brazil, widespread in Amazonia, with marginal records in the northern portion of the Cerrado ( Plt. 112A View Plate 112 ), at low elevations ( Plt. 112B View Plate 112 ). Previous maps and taxonomy in Roze (1996), Campbell and Lamar (2004), and Silva Jr. et al. (2016). Observed in the field in primary and secondary forest ( Cunha and Nascimento, 1993; Martins and Oliveira, 1998; Campbell and Lamar, 2004; Silva Jr. et al., 2016).
