Type locality. Igarapé-AÇu, state of Pará , Brazil .

Distribution. Endemic to Brazil ( Plt. 380A View Plate 380 ). In Brazil, widespread in Amazonia, south of the Amazon River ( Plt. 380A View Plate 380 ), at low elevations ( Plt. 380B View Plate 380 ). Previous map and taxonomy in Ascenso et al. (2019). Observed in the field in forest ( Cunha and Nascimento, 1993).
