Type locality. Coophema , Cuiabá, state of Mato Grosso, Brazil .

Distribution. Known from Brazil and Paraguay ( Plt. 267A View Plate 267 ). In Brazil, occurs mostly in the western portion of Cerrado, with marginal records in Pantanal, Chiquitano Dry Forest, and Atlantic Forest ( Plt. 267A View Plate 267 ), often at low elevations ( Plt. 267B View Plate 267 ). Observed in the field in open areas and disturbed areas ( Lema et al., 2005b; Sena Santos et al., 2017).
