Material examined. Sri Lanka: 7♂, 16♀ ( MMB) ; 1♂ ( HNHM) (all syntypes of D. infirmus ) .
Remarks. A similar species to D. vulgaris but with the aedeagal shaft lacking an apical notch. The placement of this species in Jassargus by Ishihara (1961: 244) is erroneous as it is based on a different (unknown) species.
