Description. ♀. Fully winged; body length 6.0– 7.5 mm. Head black, except mandible, clypeus and anterior region of frons (more along orbits) yellow (in specimen from Kenya, 1.00661°N 37.38631°E, clypeus brown-black); antenna testaceous, except antennomeres 3 and 6–8 and dorsal side of scape and pedicel brown (in specimen from Mozambique, 8 km N of Maúa, antenna black, except articulation between flagellomeres 1 and 2, flagellomere 8, distal half of flagellomere 2 and proximal half of flagellomere 3 whitish; in specimen from Uganda, Kampala, antenna brown, except articulation between flagellomeres 1 and 2, distal third of flagellomere 2, flagellomeres 5 and 8 whitish); propleuron black; pronotum black, except margins slightly reddish; rest of mesosoma black; metasoma brown; legs brown-black, except tarsi testaceous. Antenna clavate; antennomeres in following proportions: 6:3.5:32:19:12:6:6:4.5:4:6. Head dull, granulate and with numerous slight longitudinal keels on frons and vertex; occipital carina complete; lateral ocelli not touching occipital carina, situated behind virtual straight line joining posterior edges of eyes; OPL shorter than OL; POL = OL; TL more than twice as long as POL. In specimen from Kenya, 00°04.364’N 36°97.554’E, POL = 4; OL = 3; OOL = 14; OPL = 1; TL = 9; greatest breadth of lateral ocelli shorter than POL (2:4). In specimen from Central African Republic, 04°03’N 17°02’E, POL = 4, TL = 7. Pronotum dull, granulate, with numerous keels around disc; pronotum crossed by slight anterior transverse impression and strong posterior transverse furrow; anterior collar absent; posterior collar long; pronotal tubercle not reaching tegula. Mesoscutum and mesoscutellum dull, granulate, sculptured by numerous slight longitudinal keels. Notauli incomplete, almost reaching posterior margin of the mesoscutum. Metanotum rugose. Metapectal-propodeal disc reticulate rugose; propodeal declivity reticulate rugose, without longitudinal keels. Forewing with two dark transverse bands; distal part of 2r-rs&Rs vein much longer than proximal part (10:4). Protarsomere 1 slightly longer than 4 (15:13); protarsomere 3 produced into hook. Enlarged claw ( Fig. 141F View FIGURE 141 ) with one large subdistal tooth and one row of 9 lamellae (in specimen from Kenya, 00°04.364’N 36°97.554’E, 8 lamellae + 1 seta). Protarsomere 5 ( Fig. 141F View FIGURE 141 ) with two rows of about 39 lamellae; apex with at least 60 lamellae. Tibial spurs 1/1/1.
