Hosts. Unknown.

Distribution. Cameroon, Central African Republic, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Madagascar, Nigeria, South Africa, Uganda, Yemen.

Remarks. Aphelopus incisus Olmi, 1984, is here considered a senior synonym of A. himyarita Olmi & van Harten, 2006, because the length of the notauli is highly variable (previously the two species were separated only by differences in the length of the notauli), and the ♂ genitalia are alike.
