Xenoschesis Förster, 1869 , 158. Type specimen: Exetastes fulvipes Gravenhorst.

Diagnosis. Clypeus short, wide, almost flat, with transverse punctures or wrinkles, rarely punctate simply; apical margin impressed and sharp, truncate or slightly concave. Lower tooth of mandible as long as or longer than upper tooth. Lower end of occipital carina meeting hypostomal carina distinctly above base of mandible. Tarsal claws simple. Areolet nearly always present. Lateral longitudinal carina of propodeum absent. First tergum rather broad behind spiracle, without glymma. Apical portion of female metasoma weakly to strongly compressed. Female hypopygium large. Ovipositor sheath broad. Ovipositor thick, straight.
