Amniscites pictipes (Bates, 1863)

Material examined. BRAZIL, Bahia: Milagres (Fazenda Salinas, 12°54’18’’ S 39°50’46’’ O, 780 m. s.n.m.), 2.IX.2013, Carvalho, J.R.; Bravo, F.; Menezes, E. Nascimento, F.E. leg. ( UEFS).

This species has a wide distribution: Costa Rica to Panama, Ecuador, Bolivia and Brazil (Amazonas, Pará, Espírito Santo, Rio de Janeiro). This is the first record for the Caatinga Biome.

Material examined. BRAZIL, Bahia: Iaçu (Fazenda Sossego, 12°43’29.3” S 40°11’13.9” W 240 m s.n.m.), 0 6. XII. 2013, Carvalho, J.R.; Cordeiro D.; Bravo, F.; Nascimento, F.E. leg. ( UEFS). This species was recorded only from Brazil (Espírito Santo to Santa Catarina). This is a new record for the Caatinga biome.

Material examined. BRAZIL, Bahia: Iaçu (Hotel Fazenda Monte alto, 12°45’39.4” S 40°13’29” W 245 m s.n.m.), 0 5. XII. 2013, Carvalho, J.R.; Cordeiro D.; Bravo, F.; Nascimento, F.E. leg. ( UEFS). This species was recorded only from Brazil (Mato Grosso, Espírito Santo to Rio Grande do Sul). This is a new record for the Caatinga biome.
