Ecology: a slender twining liana found in clearings and other disturbed areas of lowland wet (evergreen) and moist (deciduous) forest, sometimes cultivated; elevation: 50–550 m ( Gillespie 2007).
Distribution: Widespread but uncommon throughout from India (Assam, Sikkim), throughout SE Asia (Assam, Sikkim) and Malesia ( Gillespie 2007).
