Material examined. 1 female (5.9 mm × 4.6 mm), north of Ahu Tepeu, Easter Island, 108 feet (= 32.9 m) depth, coll. H. Tonnemacher, 26 August 1999 ( ZRC 2016.0122 View Materials ) ; 2 females (5.3 mm ×4.0 mm, 5.6 mm × 4.6 mm), 1 ovigerous female (6.7 mm ×5.0 mm), Easter Island, coll. L. H. DiSalvo ( LACM MBC 17834) .
Geographical distribution. Indo-West Pacific and Tropical Eastern Pacific regions ( Castro 2011). Remarks. This is the first record of the species, an obligate symbiont of scleractinian corals ( Castro 2015), from Easter Island.
