Diagnosis. Females of this species are similar to those of Sinopoda derivata Jäger & Ono, 2002 in having a narrow lobal septum and long anterior bands, but are distinguished from the latter by the following characters: 1. epigynal bulges present, long in S. fasciculata , but absent in S. derivata ; 2. glandular appendages as wide as posterior part of spermathecae in S. fasciculata , but slightly narrower in S. derivata ; 3. internal duct system diverging medially in S. fasciculata ( Figs 2A–B , 3D–E ), but running parallel along the median line in S. derivata . Female: Measurements: PL 8.9, PW 7.8; AW 4.4; OL 9.1, OW 5.1. Eyes: AME 0.31, ALE 0.51, PME 0.31, PLE 0.53, AME–AME 0.41, AME–ALE 0.21, PME–PME 0.54, PME–PLE 0.76, AME–PME 0.61, ALE–PLE 0.59, CH AME 0.36, CH ALE 0.42. Spination: Palp: 131, 101, 2021, 1014; Fe: I–III 323, IV 331; Pa: I–III 101, IV 001; Ti: I–III 2026, IV 2126; Mt: I–II 1014, III 2026, IV 3036. Measurements of palp and legs: Palp 11.2 (3.5, 1.4, 2.6, –, 3.7); I 31.4 (9.3, 4.2, 8.1, 7.5, 2.3); II 33.5 (9.7, 4.5, 9.3, 7.9, 2.1); III 26.7 (8.0, 3.6, 6.7, 6.3, 2.1); IV 27.7 (9.0, 3.4, 8.1, 5.1, 2.1). Leg formula: II-I-IV-III. Cheliceral furrow with 3 anterior and 4 posterior teeth, and with ca. 26 denticles.

Copulatory organ as in diagnosis. Epigynal field wider than long, with one slit sensillum on each side close to epigynal field. Lateral lobes fused, posteriorly with two humps, and with median incision. Fertilization ducts arising posterio-laterally. Membranous sac between fertilization ducts almost rectangular ( Figs 2A–B , 3D–E ).

Colouration in ethanol: As in male, but dorsal prosoma reddish-brown, labium and gnathocoxae yellowish- to reddish-brown, both with distal parts brighter. Sternum reddish-brown, with margin dark ( Figs 10C–D ).

Distribution. China (Guizhou; Hunan, new province record) ( Fig. 14 ).
