Habitat. Burrowing in coralline sand.

Distribution. Passe Grand Bassin, Port Sud-Est.

Remarks. The outline of this species is deeper than that of L. clathrata and the scissulate sculpture appears on the right valve only. The Rodrigues shells are white, lacking the colour seen elsewhere in the region.

Range. Indo-Pacific [M/S].
