Status in the Arabian Peninsula. Recorded from Saudi Arabia in original description by Krupp (1983); confirmed by Hamidan & Shobrak (2019), and Freyhof et al. (2020).
General distribution. Asir Mountains, Saudi Arabia. Habitat: freshwater.
Distribution in the Arabian Peninsula. Saudi Arabia: Asir Mountains including Wadis Turabah, Adama, Noval, Shumrukh, Abalah, Noaman, Abha, Buwah, Al-Arj, and Al-Bagarah ( Lyon et al. 2016; Hamidan & Shobrak 2019; Freyhof et al. 2020).
Economic importance. No commercial importance.
Conservation. Vulnerable (VU).
