Distribution. Andaman & Nicobar Islands: South Andaman—Chidiya Tapu. Mangrove.

Habitat dependence. Transient—Adults only. The immature stages of this species usually inhabit burrow pits, cement tanks, coconut shells, fallow lands, ground pools, marshy land and seepages.
