Distribution. Andaman and Nicobar Islands; Odisha: Bhitarkanika. Mangrove.

Habitat dependence. Specific/semi-specific—Adults only. Immature stages of this species usually inhabit crabholes and pools in mangroves.

Rhinoskusea portonovoensis ( Tewari & Hiriyan, 1992)

Distribution. Odisha: Kendrapara District—Dangmal, Habalikhati; Tamil Nadu: Chidambaram District— Pitchavaram; Thiruvarur District—Muthupettai. Mangrove.

Habitat dependence. Specific/semi-specific—Adults and larvae. The immature stages of this species were collected mostly from crabholes and also found in swamp pools in mangroves and holes at the bases of trees.

Distribution. Andaman and Nicobar Islands: South Andaman—Chidiya Tapu, Sipighat; North Andaman — Karmatang, Austin; Nicobar—Kimus; Andhra Pradesh: Kakinada District—Coringa, Gaderu canal; Karnataka: Kundapur District—Rajadi bridge, Kotathattu; Maharashtra: Vikhroli, Ghatkopar; Tamil Nadu: Ramanathapuram District—Rameshwaram. Mangrove.

Habitat dependence. Specific/semi-specific—Adults and larvae. The immature stages were collected frequently in swamps in mangrove forests.
