Paratypes (in total 2 ♂ 1 ♀): Brazil. Paraná. Carambeí , 1050 m: 1 ♀, 10.II.2002, C. Mielke leg. ( CGCM 25.403 [ JX215618 View Materials ]; CGCM); 1 ♂, 30.I.2006, C. Mielke leg. ( CGCM 23.004 [ GU661544 View Materials ]; CGCM) . Ponta Grossa, Vila Velha , 900 m: 1 ♂, 8.II.2005, C. Mielke leg. ( CGCM 29.624 ; CGCM) .

Diagnosis. This and the previous species are similar, including the size of the genital apparatus, but few characters are distinctive (Pl. 15: Fig. 5–6 View PLATE 1 ): i) the tergal lobe in C. claudia sp. nov. is not differentiated, while in C. mirna sp. nov. there is a protrusion ventro-posteriorly (Pl. 15: Fig. 6 View PLATE 1 ; see upper arrow), ii) the valvae in C. claudia sp. nov. are clearly more robust, and iii) the pseudotegumen are not reinforced anteriorly in C. claudia sp. nov., but reinforced in C. mirna sp. nov. (Pl. 15: Figs 6 View PLATE 1 ; see lower arrow).

Description. Male ( Pl. 4: Figs 9–10 View PLATE 1 , Pl. 10: Fig. 16 View PLATE 3 ). Forewing length: 11–15 mm, wingspan: 25–31 mm. Epiphysis absent.

Male genitalia (Pl. 15: Fig. 6 View PLATE 1 , Pl. 20: Fig. 2 View PLATE 1 ). Tergal lobes slightly protruded ventro-posteriorly. Saccus with posterior edge slightly concave, mesally projected. Pseudotegumen reinforced anteriorly. Fultura inferior bilobed dorsally, trapezoidal.

Female ( Pl. 4: Fig. 8 View PLATE 1 ). Forewing length: 15 mm, wingspan: 32 mm. Epiphysis absent.

Female genitalia. Not dissected.

Distribution. Central-eastern Paraná, southern Brazil at altitudes between about 900 and 1050 m (Pl. 26: Fig. 1 View PLATE 1 ).

Etymology. Homonym in honour of Mirna M. Casagrande, feminine. It is treated as a noun in the nominative singular in apposition.

Remarks. This species is not often observed in light traps, despite intensive collecting efforts in its region. Allopatric to all other members of this species-group.
