Type material. Holotype ♂ [not examined] from “Kuldscha = Urga, IX 1896.” Exact locality is unknown, because the holotype was collected during a long trip from Yining (=Kuldzha) in western Xinjiang to Ulaanbaatar (=Urga).

Comments. The species is rather well known and properly described in several papers. There are 11 taxonomic entries for this species in Platnick (2014).
