Type material. Holotype ♀ [examined] with vial label “Hangtcheou a. Pichon”, text data “Hangtscheu, Tschekiang, 1925” and data in introduction “Hangtscheu, Tschekiang, A. Pichon, Comm. de Douane, 1925”. Hangtscheu seems to refer to Hangzhou in Zhejiang Province.

Comments. The species is well known due to several publications. It is distributed from Ningxia to Japan, and from Maritime Province of Russia south to Zhejiang.
