Type locality

Delaware.

Material examined

25744 1 specimen 3.6 mm Gulf of Mexico, Lee County, 73 miles (117 km) west of Sanibel Island ; 55 m; dredge; 15 November 1967; 26°24′ N, 83°22′ W GoogleMaps .

Length

3.5–4.5 mm.

Remarks

Watling offers as differentiating characters of his species: “Cx 1 triangular and Gn 2 male palmar angle without heavy spine”. The latter is not totally the case, there are in fact two robust setae (see Fig. 8 View Figure 8 ).

Distribution

Delaware ( Watling 1981). Gulf of Mexico ( Ortiz and Lalana 1993).
