Type species. Ennea strophiodes Gredler, 1881 , by original designation.
Remarks. Species currently placed in this genus arguably exhibit “too wide range” of morphological characters for a genus. Future comprehensive revision could subdivide this genus into monophyletic groups. Although the species

described herein obviously belong to multiple species groups within Sinoennea , we do not group them, and leave this for future studies.
