General distribution, hosts and prey. Widely distributed species, known from Europe, North-Africa and Middle- East, collected on numerous plants, predator in Iran of Phyllonorycter corylifoliella (Hübner) and P. blancardella (Fabricius) ( Lepidoptera : Gracillariidae ) ( Modarres Awal 1997c).
