Type material. Holotype, female, Ecuador, “ Bucay , F. Ohaus, 15.vii.1911 ”, without other data ( ZMPA).

Diagnosis. It can be distinguished from F. longehumeralis by body coloration with almost all elytra dark brown and by the presence of small testaceous humeral spots (not stripes), further in the shape of pronotum with anterior angles rounded.

Description. Whole body dark brown, except small humeral spots on elytra yellow ( Fig. 3 View FIGURES 1 – 6 ). Eyes mediumsized, distance between eyes 1.3x longer than maximal eye diameter in female. Both, maxillary and labial, palpi brown. Antennomere 3 slightly (1.1x) shorter than 4 ( Fig. 32 View FIGURES 31 – 41 ). Pronotum at base ( Fig. 18 View FIGURES 16 – 30 ) 1.7x wider than long medially, anterior pronotal angles rounded. Elytra 3.3x longer than humeral width, slightly (1.5x) widened in posterior 2/5. Female genitalia slender ( Fig. 75 View FIGURES 69 – 76 ), coxites approached distally. Body length: 8.9 mm, humeral width: 2.3 mm.

Etymology. The name is derived from the state of occurrence.

Remark. Left and right antennomeres 10–11 of the holotype missing.
